  • You can check in any time after 2pm and check out is 10am, with luggage storage available. We can also arrange for an after-hours check-in upon request before arrival. 

  • Yes, The Y Hostel offers paid parking onsite for $25. Parking is available between 5pm and 7am. We recommend booking in advance and planning alternative daytime parking if needed.

    At City Lodge, we offer onsite parking for $25 per day. Parking is available 24/7 and must be reserved in advance, as spaces are limited. If you're planning to bring a car, please let us know when you book to secure a spot.

  • Both The Y Hostel and City Lodge are right in Auckland’s city centre and within walking distance from shops, cafes, public transport, and iconic attractions like the Sky Tower.

  • Cancellation polices vary depending on your booking rate and any promotions at the time of booking. Please refer to your booking T&Cs.

  • Yes, buses, trains, and the Citylink are all just a short walk away. We will point you in the right direction.  

  • Getting around is easy with an AT HOP card. Just top it up and tap on and tap off on trains, buses, and ferries. You can grab one at most convenience stores or the Britomart train station.   • Getting to your Auckland CBD accommodation from the airport has never been easier! SkyDrive is a direct, reliable shuttle service between both the domestic and international terminals of Auckland Airport and SkyCity in Central Auckland.  When you arrive at SkyCity, it’s a quick 10-minute walk to your accommodation.   • Our guests are welcome to enjoy alcohol responsibly during their stay. We ask that you are considerate of other guests at all times, particularly in shared spaces. Our aim is to create a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.

  • Yes! We’ve got shared kitchen facilities at both the City Lodge and The Y Hostel, plus nearby supermarkets if you want to self-cater. 

  • Absolutely, we accommodate group bookings for sports groups, conferences, social events, and more. Bookings cannot be made through our site. To book, please request an online quote here.
